Do not tick "Cache menu in client-side browser" in new Admin Menu version - half the links stop working.

If overlay stops working you may have to type it yourself into the url,

eg www.mydomain.com/home#overlay=node/2/edit.

It's a setting that should be maintained but sometimes it's lost.

If you want more (even the entire) of the node appearing on the front page (ie not just the summary), put the break at the end (<!--break-->) or wherever you want it. Don't forget to select Full HTML or it will be ignored.

If the wysiwyg editor is not doing quite what you wanted, don't forget to select Full HTML!

A blank status report can be caused by JCarousel and JQuery Cycle plugins not being installed correctly (required for the Libraries module).

Many problems and error messages can be sorted by clearing cache.

Drupal 7 requires PDO; not sure it's necessary but put the configuration directives in php.ini (http://drupal.org/requirements - good to read anyway *before* Drupal 7 is installed.

Notice: Undefined index: primary-links in menu_block_view() (line 462 of /home/gardenwi/public_html/modules/menu/menu.module). There was a patch for this but it's fixed in core 7.8.
